For one of our clients, a global market leader in the food & beverages industry, we are looking for a Group Accounting & Consolidation Manager.

The Group Accounting & Consolidation Manager is accountable for the end-to-end management of the Group's accounting, consolidation and financial reporting framework. S/he ensures the accuracy, integrity and IFRS compliance of the Group's consolidated financial statements across all countries and entities. The role provides global oversight of accounting processes and leads specialist teams in consolidation, technical accounting and process excellence, including the Accounting BPO function, the Accounting Centre of Expertise and the Virtual Delivery Centre.

The Group Accounting & Consolidation Manager plays a key role in building a harmonized, efficient and compliant accounting environment across the Group and reports directly to the Group CFO.

Key responsibilities and challenges:

Group consolidation and financial reporting

Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation cycles, ensuring accuracy, integrity and compliance with IFRS and internal reporting standards.
Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, disclosures and audit documentation.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management, the Board and shareholders.

Global accounting governance and technical expertise

Own the Group's accounting policies and processes by defining, harmonizing and enforcing standards, chart of accounts, closing calendars and documentation requirements.
Provide expert technical accounting support and act as the escalation point for complex accounting matters across entities and countries.

Systems, process excellence and stakeholder management

Oversee and continuously enhance the Group consolidation system (Cognos Controller), leading initiatives in digitalization, automation and process improvement.
Ensure strong internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and act as the main counterpart for external auditors.
Partner closely with internal finance stakeholders and support M& A activities, including integration of new entities and restructuring within the consolidation perimeter.

Leadership of key accounting functions

Manage the Accounting BPO (Record-to-Report), the Accounting Centre of Expertise and the Virtual Delivery Centre.
Drive standardization, efficiency and service quality, ensuring consistent accounting treatment across the Group.

Profile:

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in group accounting, consolidation and financial reporting within a global environment.
Solid/In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards.
Fluent in English, French is an asset.
Proven people management and leadership skills.
Strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with large datasets.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a collaborative and diplomatic approach
Strong executive presence and are driven, proactive, and agile.
