We are currently supporting an industrial client in Wallonia looking for an experienced Freelance Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support ongoing maintenance activities on machining equipment and industrial machinery.

The Role

Preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery
Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns
Working on machining equipment / machine tools
Supporting production reliability and uptime
Working in a rotating shift system (morning / afternoon / night / occasional weekends)

Requirements

5+ years experience in industrial maintenance
Strong mechanical maintenance background
Experience with machining equipment / CNC / machine tools
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Basic electrical knowledge is a plus
French-speaking (mandatory)

Contract

Freelance / contractor role
Initial 12-month contract (long-term potential)
Competitive hourly rate
Start: ASAP / short notice
