Project Manager – Belgium
CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is an EPC contractor specialising in the MEP works for industrial buildings. They are urgently looking to hire a Project Manager with significant mechanical and electrical installation experience for large industrial building projects, to join their team in Belgium. This is a contract, day rate role with a start date of no later than the end of April 2026 for a period of 6 months, extendable to 12 months.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring the timely installation of company equipment by the client’s subcontractors
Being the liaison for the company at a data centre construction site
Effectively planning, organising, and coordinating all project-related activities
Ensuring the project meets its goals within the specified timeframe, budget, and defined specifications
Assisting with the development of schedules, defining objectives and deliverables, and identifying and forecasting necessary resources
Managing project costs, tracking expenses, and adhering to budget limits
Preparing regular reports on project progress, documenting decisions made and any issues encountered
Proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans
PROFILE
At least 30 years of experience in project management, with a specific focus in data centre installations or construction
Degree qualification in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Strong time management skills, adaptability, and decision-making skills
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with the teams in Belgium and the subcontractors on site
Excellent communication skills in both French and English
Immediate availability and willingness to work in a contract role
