Ready to work at the heart of global security and decision-making? We’re looking for an experienced GIS Developer to join a high-impact team supporting NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) operations.
Join NATO’s Geo & Space Services Section within the Operations Division, where you’ll design, develop, and maintain advanced web-based GIS applications that support critical decision-making at the highest level.
️ Develop and deploy web-based GIS applications using modern frameworks
• Work with Arc GIS Maps SDK for Java Script and integrate spatial data via REST APIs
• Build and manage geospatial data models, map layers, and services
• Perform data processing and automation using Python (e.g. Optimize performance for backend queries and map rendering
5+ years of experience in modern web development (React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Strong experience with GIS/web mapping tools (Arc GIS SDK preferred)
• Proficiency in Python for geospatial processing and ETL
• Experience building backend services or geospatial pipelines
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geography, IT, or related field
• Start: ASAP – until end of 2026 (extensions possible into 2027 & 2028)
